Made by someone
living with UC.
Flarely started as one person’s way to keep track of life with ulcerative colitis. Now it’s an app for anyone with Crohn’s or UC who wants to feel more in charge of their days.
Why Flarely exists
A note from the person who built it.
I’ve lived with ulcerative colitis since 2019. After I was diagnosed, eating suddenly felt stressful. Some weeks were good, some weren’t, and I couldn’t say why.
I tried spreadsheets, notes apps and a few tracking apps. None of them stuck. I’d log for a week, fall off, and go back to guessing. When someone asked how the last month had gone, I honestly didn’t know.
I’m an engineer, so I started building. I wanted logging fast enough to stick with, my days laid out side by side so I could see them for myself, and something clear to share with the people helping me.
That’s Flarely: the app I wished I’d had when I was first diagnosed.
